"Save Every Thank You" by Christopher Buckridge

I feel every Thank You is something to keep:

every card, every Post-It, backs of bills, or receipts.

Not birthday nor holiday cards, to be clear;

I get a couple more of those every year.

I find room on the fridge or in a desk drawer,

with photos of people I don’t see anymore.

Every handwritten, personal Thanks gets a spot,

but don’t ask me how long since the last one I got.
