About Folio
The initial magazine was published in 1948, under the title of TC Review. Over the years it evolved, until 1970 when it was renamed Folio. It has continued under this title until the present day and is now published once yearly. The magazine features undergraduate student work in art, poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction.

Meet the 2019-2020 Editorial Staff
Natalie Rogers | Editor-in-Chief
Natalie is a senior English major with a focus in Creative Writing. She's currently writing a collection of short stories for her thesis. Her work has been published in Folio as well as Texas University's literary magazine, High Noon, and presented at the 2019 CSU Undergraduate English Conference in New Britain, CT. Outside of spending almost every second of her life at school, she plays with her two cats, works at a juice bar, and wants to work for a publishing house after graduation.

Molly Flanagan | Associate Editor
Molly is a senior Interdisciplinary Studies major concentrating in Creative Writing, Film/Digital Production, and Theatre. She has been published in ANGLES Literary Magazine at St. John Fisher's College and the short film "Campus Coven" she co-directed and wrote with current Art Editor, Kat Lee, won Best in Show 2019 at SCSU's Student Film Festival. Molly is over-excited to graduate and complete her thesis: a mixed media (photography, writing, and short film) exploration of her family's emigration from Northern Ireland during The Troubles.

Kat Lee | Art Editor
Kat Lee crawled out of a dumpster wearing a bandana and a motorcycle jacket with preternatural writing ability.

Max Vadakin | Fiction Editor
Max Vadakin is a senior (citizen) English major and film minor at Southern. Known as “Maddog” to many and as “Ice” to his parole officer and many federal databases, Max thinks of himself as a lonely bachelor with a heart of gold, even if his mother has labeled him as “not approachable”. After he graduates, Max plans on continuing to remain alive for as long as he possibly can in an attempt to break the world record of the oldest living person to hold onto their 401(k).

Steff Sirois | Poetry Editor
Steff is a senior English major with a concentration in creative writing. In addition to crafting short stories and the occasional poem, she’s also passionate about coffee, natural history, Canadian comedies, and exploring new places. Her favorite kind of poem has weird, lucid details that are indicative of an equally weird and emotionally honest writer.
